Scheduled
to open in 2012 for both individuals and groups, program participants
and tourists, the Eco-Lodge will offer a nurturing experience of
peace while living in harmony with nature. Unique spa experiences
will be available as well as treatments from Emergent Life Center
practitioners.
The lodge will be built of natural materials, into the hillside, with
expansive views and sunsets over Mesa Verde and Sleeping Ute Mountain.
The upper level of the large round structure will house an open lobby
which will serve as a gathering place. At the west end of the lobby,
a restaurant, featuring locally grown organic food, and large deck
will open to the expansive sunset view. On the lower level are meeting
rooms, treatment rooms, a meditation room, a library, gym, laundry,
and storage rooms. The main large meeting area of the conference facility
will be designed as a large round kiva, an ancient Native American
ceremonial structure built below ground. Private suites will be nestled
in the trees with walkways from the lodge. The Eco Lodge will be open
to the public as well as reserved for conferences, workshops and retreats.
People may come merely to stay for a night and discover the peace
found in this sanctuary.
